However, I can speak from personal experience of the power of Jesus Christ to set one free from sin, fear, and guilt, and pray you will one day choose to turn to Him and surrender your life to Him. I was searching for a picture to add to something I was personally working on, and this was exactly the picture I had in mind! Sin has a hold on ALL of us, and even though we think we are free...living according to our feelings and sinful desires, we are in bondage to these things. Also, many religions and cults have a strong hold upon us, because of the things they say to fill us with fear, and hold us in captivity. Only by receiving Jesus Christ, and all He has done for us through His death, burial, and bodily resurrection, can we become free. TRUE freedom from all types of addictions and forms of bondage. When a person comes to Christ, He may sometimes instantly set us free, but sometimes it takes longer...many of us need healing in our thoughts and emotions, and the healing comes as we take the time to allow God to renew our minds through spending time in His Word, the Bible.
