When trials and false teachings comes our way, we can stand firm because we not only know the truth of His Word that will protect us from being 'tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine' (Ephesians 4:14)and led into deception, but also receive the encouragement and strength that comes from knowing His Word as well.
